Art Director

ME EXPO is seeking an experienced Art Director to be responsible for transforming the approved creative vision into compelling and visually consistent designs for their events, exhibitions, and marketing materials.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Translate the Creative Director’s concepts into concrete visual design directions.
Oversee the creation of all event visuals, including stage designs, booth layouts, branding materials, digital assets, and motion graphics.
Ensure visual consistency across all platforms and materials, from print to digital to on-site applications.
Collaborate with AVL, fabrication, and media production teams to ensure designs are feasible for production and installation.
Supervise and mentor the creative production team (Senior Graphic Designers, 3D Designers, Motion Graphics Designers, Junior Designers).
Review and approve all visual assets before submission to the Creative Director.
Ensure brand guidelines and project specifications are strictly followed.
Maintain high standards for creativity, technical accuracy, and finishing quality.
Coordinate with project managers, event planners, and operations teams to integrate visuals into overall event plans.
Communicate design rationale and provide visual references during internal reviews and client presentations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.
5–7 years of experience in art direction, preferably within event management, exhibitions, or advertising agencies.
Strong portfolio demonstrating 2D/3D event design, branding, and visual storytelling.
Proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling tools such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, or Cinema 4D).
Knowledge of print production, fabrication processes, and AVL integration.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
