Position Available: Art Director

Job Summary: The Art Director is a dual-threat creative leader, blending high-level strategic thinking with elite technical execution. This role is responsible for steering the visual identity of our clients across all touchpoints from omnichannel digital campaigns to physical product packaging.
As a bridge between data-driven insights and visual storytelling, you will partner with Creative Directors and Brand Leaders to translate market analytics into compelling, brand-aligned creative solutions. Beyond design, you are a mentor and technical expert, responsible for elevating the team’s capabilities in motion graphics and structural packaging design.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Concept and develop high-impact, integrated campaigns that translate across all platforms, with a specific focus on paid social media and digital-first storytelling.
Lead the research phase for large-scale projects, recommending creative directions that align with client goals and market trends.
Expertly design and develop physical packaging solutions, ensuring aesthetic appeal, brand consistency, and structural integrity.
Collaborate with vendors to oversee the technical aspects of packaging, including dielines, material selection, and print production specs.
Partner with Creative, Digital, and Account teams to brainstorm and produce effective solutions from initial concept to final execution.
Proficient in designing physical and digital products, ensuring they meet user needs and brand standards.
Facilitate industry trend presentations to keep the creative team inspired and up-to-date on best practices.
Maintain a high-caliber professional portfolio that demonstrates mastery in layout, typography, motion, and integrated campaign thinking.
Develop and maintain comprehensive brand standards, ensuring all creative output remains consistent and "on-brand" across every channel.
Demonstrate high proficiency in animation and motion graphics to elevate visual storytelling.
Oversight of design execution, including rigorous proofreading and technical reviews to eliminate errors before delivery.
Effectively pivot, revise, or redevelop work based on feedback from leadership and client requirements.
Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining accurate records of time and expenses.
Act as a functional mentor by training junior staff (Art Director I) on technical capabilities, including Adobe After Effects and packaging design.

Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related creative field.
5+ years of experience in a fast-paced agency or in-house creative environment, specifically in Art Direction or Senior Design roles.
Proven experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry, with a strong understanding of retail environments and consumer behavior.
Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for animation and social content.
Deep understanding of print production, dielines, and 3D packaging mockups.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) for presentation and reporting.
Ability to analyze creative briefs and translate data/insights into effective visual solutions for both internal teams and external clients.
Excellent verbal and written skills; comfortable leading "trend presentations" and pitching concepts to senior leadership.
A proactive problem-solver who can multitask on high-pressure projects with minimal supervision.
Ability to project a professional image and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
