Art Director, Campaigns

We’re a dynamic company looking to break the mold—pushing our advertising beyond the conventional boundaries of typical SaaS and B2B campaigns.

We’re looking for an Art Director, Advertising to join the Brand Creative team and help shape campaigns that span from video and OTT ads, OOH, to paid social and digital media. Our work lives in a serious category—security, compliance, risk—but it doesn’t have to feel heavy. We aim to speak clearly, design thoughtfully, and leave room for wit.

The ideal candidate has a strong point of view and the craft to support it. You’re comfortable moving between big conceptual ideas and meticulous execution. You care about typography, pacing, composition, and tone. You’ve worked on OTT/TV commercials, print/OOH, understand the mechanics of paid media, and know how to make work that performs without losing its edge.

You’ll create campaigns in partnership with copywriters, designers, and marketers. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you’ll play a key role in elevating the quality and distinctiveness of Vanta’s advertising.

What you’ll do as an Art Director at Vanta:

• Concept and execute advertising campaigns across video, OTT, OOH, paid social, digital display, and other media channels.
• Visually craft the campaign assets—from storyboards and pitch decks to final production.
• Art direct video shoots and collaborate with directors, editors, and external production partners.
• Design high-volume paid media assets while maintaining creative consistency and high quality.
• Bring personality and originality to Vanta’s advertising while ensuring the work maintains trust and clarity.
• Collaborate with growth and media teams to align creative with channel strategy and performance goals.
• Balance innovation with execution: bring fresh ideas (we mean it!) while delivering polished work.

How to be successful in this role:

• BFA in graphic design, advertising, or a similar field.
• 8+ years of experience in advertising, including B2B and B2C space
• Proven experience working on commercials, OTT, OOH from concept through post-production.
• Experience creating paid media campaigns at scale while maintaining high craft standards.
• Strong design fundamentals: typography, layout, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Demonstrated ability to bring personality or humor into campaign work (bonus points for comedy-forward or wit-driven projects).
• Production experience and confidence working with directors, photographers, editors, and animators.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
