Artist – Art Sales & Marketing Assistant

Position Summary

The Art Sales & Marketing Assistant will support the artist’s brand positioning and long-term career strategy, while taking an active role in sales, marketing, and communication processes. This position requires close collaboration and ongoing communication with galleries, collectors, and art professionals both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic support for the artist’s brand positioning and career planning, contributing actively to marketing and social media plans

Coordinate professional communication with the artist and domestic and international galleries, collectors, and art professionals

Coordinate international gallery applications, portfolio submissions, and relationship management processes

Develop and manage brand collaborations, including project development and business development initiatives

Maintain and expand collector relationships, identifying and developing new collector networks through effective stakeholder communication

Support artwork pricing strategies and monitor sales and transaction processes

Establish and maintain strong professional relationships within the art market ecosystem

Required Competencies

Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills

Professional appearance and high-level representation capability

Strategic mindset with the ability to follow market trends and integrate them into brand positioning

Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, results-driven, and creative

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Fluent written and spoken English

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales and marketing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong interest in the contemporary art market

No restrictions on domestic or international travel

Working Conditions

Based at the artist’s studio in Levent, Istanbul

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
