Position: Art Teacher

Job Location: Bandra East, Mumbai

Brief about Aseema: Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value-based education enabling development of their limitless potential.
It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools – The Pali Chimbai Municipal School in Bandra (West) The Pereirawadi Municipal School in Bandra (West) and The Kherwadi Municipal School in Bandra (East).

Responsibilities and Duties

• To conduct the Art classes for Primary section
• To maintain a portfolio of the artwork of the class
• To organize and plan field trips to art exhibitions
• To prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and evaluation forms
• To teach and prepare students for Elementary and Intermediate Art examinations.
• To teach in an experiential manner.
• To monitor the progress of children by correcting books and assignments regularly

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Art is required
• Good communication skills
• Immediate joiners preferred
