Art Teacher

Gems International School - Soma Bay is inviting applications for the position of Art Teacher at our prestigious institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality art education that inspires creativity, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the arts among our diverse student body.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to different learning styles
• Encourage student participation and nurture their artistic talents through various mediums and techniques
• Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth
• Create a vibrant and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and collaboration
• Organize and participate in art exhibitions, competitions, and school events to showcase student work
• Work collaboratively with other faculty members to integrate art across the curriculum where appropriate
• Manage classroom resources efficiently and maintain a safe and organized learning space
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational best practices and trends in art education
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Proven experience teaching art in a school setting, preferably with diverse age groups
• Excellent knowledge of various artistic techniques, media, and art history
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students
• Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Organizational skills to effectively manage classroom materials and student records
