Art Teacher (25-26 School Year)

SUMMARY

The role of the teacher is to teach students to read, write, problem solve, compute, how to find information, how to think, how to work co-operatively with others, and to meet all district required curriculum objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification:

Art: Must have an Art K-12 Certification.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of content and pedagogy skills in planning and preparation, establishing and maintaining a purposeful learning environment. Skill in delivering instruction, engaging students in learning and assessing and evaluating students. Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents and other district employees.

Abilities:

Problem solving, imagination, patience, reasoning, creativity, judgment, and analytical abilities.

Hours: 8:35AM - 4:05PM

Pay Rate : $58,639 - $92,815 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)
