Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Art CAM Designer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in modular furniture manufacturing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Art CAM software for CNC machining, capable of converting design concepts into accurate CNC-ready files, and knowledgeable about furniture materials and production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D & 3D designs for modular furniture using Art CAM
• Prepare CNC tool paths and machining files for routers
• Develop cut lists, nesting layouts, and panel optimization
• Interpret interior drawings, shop drawings, and client requirements
• Coordinate with production, CNC operators, and design teams
• Ensure designs meet manufacturing feasibility and quality standards
• Modify designs based on production feedback and site requirements
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings and CNC programs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an ArtCAM Designer in furniture/modular industry
• Strong knowledge of ArtCAM software
• Good understanding of CNC machines, tooling, and materials
• Experience in plywood, MDF, HDF, laminates, and hardware fittings
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)
• Good coordination and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, office furniture
• Knowledge of Smart2D / Maxicut (added advantage)
• Understanding of production workflow and installation constraints
