Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining client accounts and preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS and IAS.
  • Support in conducting statutory audits, internal audits, and other assurance engagements in line with International Auditing Standards.
  • Prepare audit working papers and draft audit reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with professional methodologies.
  • Liaise with clients to obtain financial information, resolve queries, and provide clarification as required.
  • Contribute to compliance matters, including UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
  • Participate in multi-jurisdictional assignments and projects under the guidance of senior auditors and managers.
  • Uphold the Code of Ethics, confidentiality, and firm standards in all professional activities.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) with ICAI and eligible for Articleship training.
  • Pursuing ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (advantageous but not compulsory for Articleship).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/IAS) and auditing practices under International Standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of accounting/audit software is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Commitment to professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality in line with international best practices.
