Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and other AI tools to address diverse business challenges.
• Lead model training processes, utilizing unsupervised learning techniques to uncover hidden patterns in large datasets.
• Integrate AI models into scalable deployment environments leveraging cloud platforms like AWS and containerization technologies.
• Conduct data mining and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations to prepare high-quality datasets for analysis and model training.
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize database design and manage big data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, and related technologies.
• Develop algorithms for natural language processing (NLP) applications to improve user interactions and automate content analysis.
• Utilize SQL, Python, R, SAS, and other analytics tools for data analysis, visualization with Looker, and reporting purposes.
• Engage in continuous research on emerging AI trends such as quantum engineering applications in machine learning to maintain a competitive edge.
• Support model deployment efforts ensuring seamless integration into existing systems with a focus on performance tuning and scalability.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, C, Bash (Unix shell), VBA or similar programming languages used in AI development.
• Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud services such as AWS for deploying scalable AI solutions.
• Expertise in natural language processing (NLP), data mining techniques, and big data analytics tools including Hadoop and Talend.
• Solid understanding of database design principles along with SQL proficiency for managing structured data.
• Familiarity with model training workflows and model deployment strategies across various environments.
• Experience working with unstructured data sources such as linked data or social media feeds for advanced analytics projects.
• Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts as they relate to next-generation AI research is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams while maintaining attention to detail in complex projects.
