Position is located at 515 S Boulder Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5pm with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
Summary:
The AWM (Arvest Wealth Management) Trust Officer 2 administers, develops, and maintains fiduciary relationships, serving as the primary relationship manager for assigned accounts of moderate complexity and size. This role ensures all account activities conform to governing instruments, laws, rules, and procedures, providing administrative services to clients with a moderate level of autonomy.
Responsibilities
Maintain existing customer relationships in current and appropriate condition while soliciting new business from the client base to meet or exceed annual revenue and growth targets.
Establish a call plan and work closely with the Trust Investment Officer to regularly call on the high potential clients and centers of influence focused on client retention and expanding market reach.
Work closely with the Trust Investment Officer to develop and maintain the investment strategies according to customer’s goals/expectations while providing appropriate investment information and assistance to customers to maintain a close relationship.
Interacts with clients, resolving account problems with all areas of the Bank to ensure quality service is provided to customers and clients’ needs are met.
Review accounts for compliance with internal policies and procedures, federal regulations, local laws, and legal documents.
Interprets legal documents and determines discretionary distributions, escalating only non-routine or unprecedented matters to higher-level officers.
Performs complex administrative duties, which include Regulation 9 reviews, both discretionary and non-discretionary distributions, and monitors, approves overdrafts, and prepares client reports and special projects.
Coordinate activities with the Trust Division’s Tax Services, Investments, and Operations department to resolve related issues.
Maintain all customer appointments, calls, and contacts in the appropriate system.
Process, vet, and approve outgoing wire transfer requests with an established approval limit, ensuring proper approval and documentation are obtained prior to submission.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to job duties. This includes, but is not limited to, completing compliance training and adhering to internal procedures and controls, reporting any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations, and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
Responsibilities:
Required: 4-5 years of experience in trust administration.
Required: Completion of Personal Trust Curriculum Level 1, 2 & 3 American Banker’s Association or related training within 1-3 years of hire date.
Required: Working knowledge of fiduciary management techniques, investments, tax, and legal issues.
Required: Working knowledge of accounting principles.
Required: Working knowledge of Bank’s products and services.
Required: Excellent skills/knowledge with the trust accounting systems.
Relevant work experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree requirement.
Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Must be able to operate standard office equipment and use office applications for communication, information and document transmission, and content, document, and report creation.
The essential duties of this job occasionally require the associate to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Ability to travel overnight, unaccompanied, within the United States via automobile and air is required, on occasion.
The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.

Pay Range: $74370 - $92965 per year
