Job Summary
Maintain, calibrate, and test a broad range of instrumentation in alignment with established SOPs and 21 CFR 211 regulatory requirements, working under the guidance of the ARx Metrologist.
Essential Functions

Adhere to ARx/AR policies and procedures in carrying out calibration assignments

Perform and/or assist calibration duties as directed by the ARx Metrologist, supervisor, and/or manager

Create and/or revise metrology documents as necessary.

Conducts all aspects of position in a professional, respectful manner consistent with ARx Guiding Principles; organizes personnel workspace and appearance consistent with corporate and divisional professional image.

Responsible for following all relevant regulations (e.g. FDA, OSHA, EPA, DEP, etc.) and company procedures.

Job Specifications
-
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
-
Preferred two years experience supporting or experience operating manufacturing equipment or laboratory equipment.

Strong organizational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be computer literate and be able to utilize Excel spreadsheets.
-
Analytical and problem solving skills.
-
Must be capable of lifting 100 lbs.
-
Must communicate fluently in English and have legible handwriting.
-
Must keep customer information confidential.
-
Must be capable of working in adverse, ambient conditions.

Must comply with company safety rules.

Working knowledge of all safety related procedures relative to current industry practices (Arc Flash, LOTO) is a plus.

General knowledge of cGMP regulations is a plus.
Physical Demands
Must be capable of lifting up to 100 + pounds.
Hand Functions

Must be able to manipulate small potentiometers and access thermocouple wires in tight places. This will require good hand-eye coordination and adequate eye sight.

Dexterity and ability to operate power, machine and equipment moving tools.
Environmental
Must be capable of working in various types of environments. This includes analytical labs, bulk chemical mixing rooms, manufacturing areas, and hazardous locations.
