AS400 Developer

Synopsis of the role:

• The job opening is for an AS400 developer role with experience in .Net development.
• The technical skill set required for AS400 includes RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, XML.
• The skill sets for .Net should include ASP.net , Basics of Kindo UI, Basics of WCF (Web Services).
• The total experience should be between 3-5 years.

What you’ll do

• Handle development as well as production support activities with least guidance in AS400 as well as .Net technologies.
• Should have good analytical skill.
• Should be able to analyse the requirements/ design, develop and unit test the application, promote the code/objects to various environments using Turnover tool.
• Should be able to communicate directly with customers in the Asian region.
• Proactively identify solutions to the issues reported by the customers.
• Provide accurate weekly status to management team.

What experience you need

• 3 – 5 years experienced in core development of which 1 year should be in AS400 technology.
• Websphere configuration experience will be an added benefit
• Work Location: Bangalore (with 3 days RTO).
• Should have experience in analyzing the requirements, hands-on development experience and unit testing.
