ASAP LPN- NIGHTS Thursday to Monday 48 hours!

Overview
We are urgently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for night shifts from Friday to Monday. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and experience in various healthcare settings, including critical care, long-term care, and emergency medicine. This role is crucial for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusions and injections.
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document medical records accurately.
• Provide direct patient care in various settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, and hospitals.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist with triage and emergency response situations as needed.
• Support patients with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and other specialized needs.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.

Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Critical care (ICU/PICU)
• Long-term care or assisted living
• Emergency medicine or urgent care
• Hospital medicine or medical-surgical units
• Home care or hospice care
• Geriatrics or senior care

Additional preferred skills include:

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
• Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and medical terminology.
• Experience in pain management, catheterization, phlebotomy, and basic life support.
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology related to patient assessment.
