Asian Food Sales - Japanese / English (KS34626)

A Global Food Wholesaler and Distributor is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Person to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for sales, and an interest in Asian food culture. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with customers and vendors, presenting new products and sales performance reviews, and conducting market research on trends, products, and competitors. Proficiency in Japanese, Korean or Chinese preferred.

Job description:

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain relationship with existing clients and increase sales activities by acquiring new clients
• Coordinate and order international sales activities
• Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
• Maintain accurate records such as sales reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices and other documents
• Communicate and report with / to upper management regarding sales activities
• Occasional domestic and international business travel as required
• Creation of sales reports and miscellaneous documentation for upper management
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements Include:

• Must be able to speak, read and write business level of Japanese
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication and customer service skill in English and Japanese (speaking, reading and writing)
• Must be able to travel nationwide and internationally if needed
• Preferably has 1-2 years' work experience in Sales Support / Coordination, Office Administration, or Customer Support, preferably in the food/beverage industry
• Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Excel (using pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Willing to travel including overnight travel.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
