ASME Code Pipe Welder

We are hiring an experienced ASME Pipe Welder specializing in stainless steel fabrication to support vessel and piping projects across multiple industries. This role focuses on producing high-quality welds using MIG (GMAW) and Flux-Cored (FCAW) processes while maintaining strict compliance withASME code requirements.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a production team in a shop environment.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate stainless steel pipe and vessel components in accordance with ASME code and project specifications
• Perform stainless steel welding using MIG (GMAW) and Flux-Cored (FCAW) processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, weld symbols, and technical documentation
• Set up and adjust welding machines, consumables, and tooling for stainless applications
• Prepare materials through cleaning, grinding, beveling, and proper fit-up prior to welding
• Inspect completed welds to verify quality, accuracy, and code compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
• Coordinate with shop supervision and project teams to meet production schedules

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience performing ASME code welding on vessels and piping
• Proven experience welding stainless steel using MIG (GMAW) and FCAW processes
• Strong understanding of weld symbols, blueprint interpretation, and fabrication drawings
• Working knowledge of welding procedures, metallurgy fundamentals, and welding equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding shop work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Experience:
