Asphalt Plant Operator

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation, HMA production, and possess mechanical knowledge. We work hand in hand with MassDOT, knowledge of MassDOT SuperPave designs is key. Pay is competitive with bonus opportunities.

Duties:

- Operate and maintain machinery and plant equipment.
- Maintain high quality asphalt mix production.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of the plant.
- Assist QC(s) in asphalt qualitive testing

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in asphalt plant operations
- Experience in heavy equipment operation
- Ability to fabricate parts based on specifications
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery issues
- welding skills are a plus
- Knowledge of job mix formulas (JMFs)

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
