ASP.NET MVC Developer

About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on developer to build and maintain data-driven web applications using ASP.NET MVC (C#), Bootstrap/jQuery/CSS, and MS SQL Server. You’ll own features end-to-end—from database design and APIs to responsive UI and production deployment.

What you’ll do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ASP.NET MVC applications (controllers, views, models, filters, areas).
• Build responsive UIs with Bootstrap, jQuery, and clean, reusable CSS.
• Design efficient database schemas; write performant T-SQL (views, stored procedures, functions, indexes).
• Create and consume RESTful APIs; handle JSON/AJAX front-end integrations.
• Optimize app and query performance; troubleshoot production issues (profiling, logging).
• Implement authentication/authorization (ASP.NET Identity/OWIN or similar).
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Package and deploy to IIS/Azure; manage config transforms and environment variables.
• Collaborate with Product/QA/Design; break down requirements into technical tasks and estimates.
• Follow Git workflows and basic CI/CD practices.

Must-have qualifications

• 2+ years building web apps with C# and ASP.NET MVC (.NET Framework or .NET 6+ MVC).
• Strong HTML5/CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and client-side debugging skills.
• Solid MS SQL Server experience: T-SQL, query tuning, indexing, execution plans.
• Experience with Entity Framework (Code First/Database First) or Dapper.
• Understanding of OOP, SOLID, layered architecture, and REST.
• Comfortable with Git and work tracking (Azure DevOps/Jira/GitHub).
• Clear communication and the ability to own features end-to-end.

Education

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
