Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Assembler, where your precision and technical skills will contribute to the creation of high-quality electronic and mechanical products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with electro-mechanical components, PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assemblies, and electrical schematics, ensuring that each product meets rigorous standards. Duties

  • Assemble electronic components onto PCBs using hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques in accordance with detailed schematics and blueprints.
  • Build electrical panels and wiring harnesses by following electrical schematic diagrams and blueprint specifications.
  • Use soldering equipment to connect electro-mechanical components with precision, adhering to IPC 610 standards for quality and safety.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to accurately assemble and troubleshoot assemblies.
  • Conduct testing of assembled units using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper electrical functionality.
  • Assist in engineering troubleshooting by identifying issues with PCB assemblies or mechanical components during the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety protocols related to the use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery involved in electronics and mechanical assembly.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of PCB design, fabrication, and assembly processes including surface mount technology (SMT).
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for both electrical and mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience with soldering techniques compliant with IPC 610 standards for reliable electrical connections.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their role in automation within manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment effectively during assembly and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical components, electrical wiring practices, and building electrical panels.
  • Capable of following detailed blueprint specifications accurately while maintaining quality standards in manufacturing processes.
  • Basic machining skills for component fitting or mechanical assembly as needed; understanding of engineering troubleshooting methods for complex issues.

Pay: $22.83 - $27.50 per hour
