Asset-Based Lending Attorney

Trustpoint.One is seeking an experienced asset-based lending attorney to join multinational banking and financial services company as a secondee for at least three months on a remote basis.

The attorney will assist the company’s legal team in providing day-to-day legal support to its Asset Based Lending group, which provides highly structured asset based solutions for a wide array of complex financings across the U.S. and Canada, as well as subsidiaries of U.S. entities located in Europe and Asia. You will leverage your legal knowledge to help coordinate the legal team’s role in supporting and advising on secured asset-based lending credit facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing and negotiating credit and collateral documentation, amendments, waivers, term sheets, proposal and commitment letters, and intercreditor agreements.
• Reviewing and negotiating confidentiality agreements and non-reliance letters.
• Updating loan document templates.
• Researching and advising on various legal issues impacting secured credit facilities and asset-based lending.

Qualifications:

• JD or educational equivalent required (with at least 5 years of post-JD practicing experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department preferred).
• Experience with secured credit facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in state of residence.
• Experience with asset-based lending credit facilities and/or familiarity with borrowing bases from cash flow lending is preferred.
• Knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements for secured lending (including asset-based lending)

Pay rate: Commensurate with experience, starting at $90/hour.
