Role Overview:

We are seeking an Asset Control Administrator to join our global team. As an Asset Controller you will contribute to a safe, compliant, and reliable team by ensuring that stock held within the global depots is organised and logged correctly. You will ensure all stock records are accurate and stock losses and errors are minimised

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring correct protocols are being used on companywide systems - orders scanned, posted on our system.
  • Ensuring new stocks are barcoded and uploaded on our system.
  • Ensure Missing/Damaged Items have been followed up to definitive conclusion with client -
  • Ensure stock audits are done monthly with other depot.
  • Liaise with Global Ops and local ops and tech team to ensure minimum overdue collections/returns on system
  • Ensure local standards and processes are aligned with standardised global process e.g. document packs, packaging. Request assistance and push for resolution should it be needed
  • Management of company sim card usage - ensuring sim cards are removed for all devices in check in and passed to operations
  • Ensure new staff's equipment are allocated under their name and put out of service
  • Ensure IDTs are carried out accurately for all depots - followed through to the end
  • Suggest process refinement to improve control of company stock globally
  • Ensuring non-itemised stock takes occur weekly - reporting significant losses
  • Ensure all orders on our system globally are posted - issues with posting reverted to relevant teams to avoid recurrence
  • Ensure any and all partnership equipment entering the building is asset tagged and entered on the system - no item unaccounted for
  • Mapping of the entire warehouse to be in motion and complete - utilising emtpy space
  • Ensuring processes are in place for all items in the local depot to be cleaned and tested
  • Run audits on post pay simcard utilisation and ensure they are in utilisation and not lost or being misused.
  • Cross-check and flag if active and shipped orders on lightening are not 100% checked out. Liase with relevant teams to avoid recurrence
  • Cross-check if terminated staff's equipment are returned which were previously allocated under their name.
  • Liaise with global Ops and local ops and tech team to ensure minimum overdue collections/returns on system
  • Liase with global ops to ensure partial returns are being actioned to avoid dormant partial rentals.
  • Ensure IDTs are carried out accurately for all depots - followed through to the end to complete loop. Look out for pending and open IDT and flag receiving depot and Asset controller for action

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in managing, tracking, and auditing assets, preferably in IT or event technology sectors.
  • Strong ability to maintain accurate records, conduct stock audits, and manage inventory across multiple locations.
  • Proficient with asset management software (e.g., MCS), barcode scanning, and other related tools.
  • Ability to work across different time zones and communicate effectively with global teams.

Qualifications:

  • A background in Logistics, Inventory Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and multitask efficiently
  • Confidence in working independently and as part of a global team

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday – 2:00pm to 11:00pm
