JOB TITLE

Asset Lead, Retail Design | MAF Properties | Asset Management Egypt

ROLE SUMMARY

The position is responsible for taking ownership of all Retail Innovation & Design Management activities and duties within an Asset, and act as the primary Retail Innovation & Design Management representative on tenant design matters. The goal is to ensure that all stores delivered within the Asset meet the highest standards, open on time, with aim of creating and maintaining engaging and high-performing retail destinations.

ROLE PROFILE

• Responsible for handling all Retail Innovation & Design administrative duties to include Asset workload and redevelopment project budget and resource forecast according to project weight & workload scorecard, recruitment, and team management.
• On-boarding and immersion of new employees and consultants.
• Planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating day-to-day team activities, ensuring they meet the organization’s goals, objectives, and regulations. Adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Identifying and developing opportunities in the Asset (hidden Gross Leasable Area/ Retail Design & Delivery relevant improvements such as food court upgrades/ etc.)
• Primary Retail Innovation & Design advisor to Mall Management to respond to tenant design related matters and act as consultant.
• Conducting data analysis to explore opportunities for improved Retail Innovation & Design performance/ time saving across the Asset.
• Ensuring adherence / improvement on prescribed design relevant milestones (individual or team).
• Participating in Standards focus groups and workshops.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Architecture / Interior Architecture / Retail Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive and successful experience in Retail Design or Food and Beverage at a creative design agency, in-house retail brand design team, or shopping center retail design management.
• Strong Communication and Negotiation skills (verbal, written and presentation).
• Very good English level.
