About the Role


Asset Management System Coordinator is responsible for recording the depreciation of passive components (office furniture, desks, delivery cars, buildings etc.). The Asset Management System Coordinator is responsible for depreciating this over time through relevant depreciations methods and models.

Responsibilities:

  • To assure the completeness and correctness of the IT assets value:

    • Daily check the assets changes (Shifted/Addition/Deletion) using Special Asset Management Tool for IT and prepare related reports.

    • Liaise between the stakeholders to assure that Deleted/added assets were removed/capitalized properly in Oracle and

    • Daily check the new purchased Capex items and take the necessary actions to add the Non discoverable items in Asset Management Tools using the related templates.

    • Prepare the Variance (Financial & Qty) report between Oracle and (AST) then liaise between other department to match the information.

  • Verify the delivered items as per the agreed scope by comparing the submitted Asset Receiving Template with Ordered BoQ in terms of Quantity, models, prices, etc.

  • Assets Audit for IT to verify the assets cycle is running as per company process.

  • Create item codes for new items as per rules and mapping the item codes with ERP.

  • Allocate the purchased items to the correct categories (Level 1 to Level 4) to ensure the proper allocation of the item lifecycle and the depreciated value.

  • Monitor the AST functionality and assure the flow of the data from/to the other connected systems to perform the daily tasks.

  • Maintain up to date knowledge and be familiar with Zain technical/network infrastructure

  • Understand and be familiar with appropriate depreciation methods relevant and appropriate to specific passive components

  • Create regular passive component depreciation reports for the asset management department manager highlighting any irregularities or issues and recommend actionable solutions

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders within Finance and others to ensure reliable depreciation reports

  • Contribute to financial statements preparation specifically with regards to passive component deprecation numbers

What We Need From You


Strong expertise in depreciation modelling, financial accounting and reporting

  • Understanding of various depreciation techniques and ability to use the appropriate depreciation techniques for specific passive components
  • Experience with advanced analytics, financial dashboards and problem structuring
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Clear ability to understand the dynamics of financial data to extract relevant information
  • Experience working independently across a cross-functional team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and frame key issues
  • Ability to analyze a situation and produce creative, original and useful solutions
  • Experience designing KPIs, reports, dashboards
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications products, trends and technology markets
  • Solid knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python is a plus

Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, or in IT.
