We are seeking an experienced and mission-focused Asset Manager to lead the successful operation of a diverse portfolio of public, affordable, and market-rate rental communities.
This position is ideal for a collaborative leader who understands that strong property operations are about more than budgets, occupancy, and compliance—they are about creating well-managed communities where residents can thrive.
Reporting to the Chief Operations and Programs Officer, the Asset Manager will provide operational oversight, guide property teams, monitor financial performance, support employee development, and ensure assigned communities operate efficiently, responsibly, and in alignment with PCHA’s mission.
As Asset Manager, you will:
You will take ownership of property performance, financial oversight, occupancy, compliance, and team results. You will set clear expectations, monitor progress, and follow through on commitments to residents, employees, and organizational leadership.
You will uphold the highest ethical standards while managing public resources, reviewing financial activity, making operational decisions, and ensuring policies and regulations are applied fairly and consistently.
You will identify opportunities to improve property operations, strengthen marketing efforts, streamline processes, and develop practical solutions to challenges affecting residents, employees, and portfolio performance.
You will build strong teams by supporting ongoing education, coaching employees, sharing knowledge, and encouraging professional growth. You will remain current on housing regulations, industry practices, and emerging operational needs.
The successful candidate will be a visible, approachable, and solutions-oriented leader who can balance financial stewardship with responsive resident service. You should be comfortable holding teams accountable while also providing the guidance, resources, and encouragement they need to succeed.
You will bring sound judgment, professionalism, diplomacy, and a genuine commitment to strengthening communities through effective housing operations.
At PCHA, your leadership will have a direct impact on the quality of our communities and the lives of the residents we serve. You will help ensure that properties are financially sound, well maintained, compliant, and positioned for long-term success.
Join us in building stronger communities, developing talented teams, and advancing our mission to improve lives through quality, affordable housing.
