Position Overview
The Assistant Manager – Finance will play a key role in managing the company’s day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across accounting, billing, and reporting processes. The role involves supporting the CFO in financial planning, analysis, and audits while collaborating with operations and billing teams to maintain financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
- Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings.
- Ensure timely closing of books and submission of management reports.
- Assist in consolidation and financial analysis of branch and business unit performance.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance, highlight variances, and propose corrective actions.
- Support operational departments in cost control and financial planning.
3. Payables, Receivables & Cash Flow Management
- Oversee vendor payments, fuel vendor settlements, and freight bill reconciliations.
- Supervise customer invoicing and collections to maintain strong cash flow.
- Prepare weekly cash flow projections and working capital reports.
4. Audit, Compliance & Taxation
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws (income tax, sales tax, withholding) and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and statutory records.
5. Systems & Controls
- Support the implementation and optimization of ERP/accounting software.
- Strengthen internal controls, approval workflows, and documentation standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams to automate financial reporting and cost tracking.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: MBA (Finance) / M.Com / ACCA / CA (Part Qualified).
- Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience in logistics, transport, or service industry preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong command over MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or customized ERP).
- Understanding of IFRS, taxation, and corporate financial management.
- Soft Skills:
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
