Roche Bobois is one of the largest and most famous contemporary European furniture companies. We are looking for a proactive Assistant Designer to join our new showroom in Palm Desert.

Job Title: Assistant 3D Designer

Supervisor: Showroom Manager

Location: 73-061 El Paseo, Suites 3 & 4, Palm Desert, CA 92260
Requirement: 20/20, SketchUp, V-Ray, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Experience in the Furniture Industry is a plus
Schedule: Upon Manager’s request (5 days a week incl Saturday) from 10:00am - 6:00pm

Job Description:

Sales team assistance

• Assist Sales Team with all aspects of design project: house calls, measurements, design
• Draft and render floorplans, furniture layout, and decor for client presentations
• Greet customers and inform them of our services and product information if sales team is occupied with other clients

Marketing and sales tools

• Maintain materials library and update vendor catalogs/pricelists.
• Contact vendors for sample requests and information on products.
• Price tagging and video updates in showroom
• Merchandising/layout of the showroom upon approval/request by the store manager
• Showroom supplies maintenance
• Administrative tasks
• Field telephone calls

IT systems:

AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, 20/20, SketchUp, V-Ray
