Job Description – Assistant Accountant

Location: Karnal, Haryana
Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team at Bioclix Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, handling purchase records, cash transactions, and assisting in financial documentation. The role requires a graduate in commerce (B.Com) with 1–2 years of relevant work experience and strong computer skills.

Key Responsibilities (KRA)

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including vouchers, receipts, and payments.
• Handle cash transactions and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation.
• Manage purchase records, vendor bills, and inventory-related entries.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliation statements.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Support statutory compliances like GST, TDS, and other taxation-related work.
• Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping of all financial documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments for purchase and payment-related queries.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in financial operations.
• Perform other accounting or administrative tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Qualification: B.Com (mandatory).
• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting, purchase, and cash handling.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP systems, and basic IT knowledge.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and with accuracy.

Additional Requirements

• Must have a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
• Should be disciplined, trustworthy, and committed to timelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
