Assistant Accountant

Job Vacancy: Assistant Accountant (Odoo ERP Experienced)

A meat import and export company in Abu Dhabi is looking for an Assistant Accountant to work at a single point of sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Support: Assist in managing financial transactions using the Odoo ERP system, including data entry, record keeping, and basic report preparation.
  • General Ledger Assistance: Support in maintaining and reconciling the General Ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner Ledger Tracking: Help monitor, review, and reconcile customer and supplier accounts through the Partner Ledger module in Odoo.
  • POS Support: Assist in auditing and reviewing daily sales sessions and reconciling accounts.
  • Inventory Coordination: Participate in regular stocktaking activities and assist in preparing inventory summaries through Odoo’s manufacturing module.
  • Financial Follow-ups: Support tracking of payment due dates for both customers and suppliers.
  • Payment Processing: Assist in handling cash transactions, bank deposits, and other payment activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting, with hands-on exposure to the Odoo ERP system.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
  • Skills: High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to work under supervision while meeting deadlines.
  • Location: Candidates residing in Abu Dhabi are preferred.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
