Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Job Summary
The Assistant Accountant will support the Accounts and Finance department in day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, statutory compliance support, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance. The role requires high accuracy, confidentiality, and a basic understanding of Indian accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining books of accounts, including cash, bank, and journal entries
- Prepare and update vouchers, invoices, and expense statements
- Support GST-related activities such as data preparation, return filing, and reconciliations
- Assist with TDS calculations, challan preparation, and return filing
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
- Maintain purchase and sales registers
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documents
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting or any degree
- Candidates with accounting certifications will have an added advantage
Experience & Skills Required
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP or equivalent accounting software
- Good understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory compliances
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and charts)
- Typing speed of at least 30–40 words per minute
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Good communication and organizational skills

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
