Assistant Accountant

Job Title: Assistant Accountant (On-Site)

Job Description:

We are hiring a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our finance and accounts operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a recognized organization and possess strong working knowledge of accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.

This is a full-time, on-site position and requires a responsible individual who can manage daily accounting tasks with accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounting records and financial data
• Record vouchers, invoices, payments, and receipts
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance
• Prepare basic financial reports as required
• Work on QuickBooks for data entry and reporting
• Support senior accountant in monthly and yearly closing
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in an accounting role at a known organization
• Sound knowledge of QuickBooks (mandatory)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience with taxation or payroll is a plus
