Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Position Summary
The Accounting Assistant will support the Finance Department by performing daily accounting tasks such as processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and capable of handling sensitive information with high integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process incoming invoices, verify receipts, and prepare outgoing payments. Assist with client billing and follow up on overdue accounts.
Data Entry: Maintain the general ledger by recording daily financial transactions in the accounting software.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all records match statements.
Reporting: Assist senior accountants in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Documentation: Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records (tax filings, contracts, and expense reports).
Administrative Support: Help with payroll processing and provide documentation for internal or external audits.
Software: Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
