About Us:
We Taameer Plus Contracting are growing construction and contracting company. With a reputation for quality and timely delivery, we’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting:
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
Construction-Specific Duties:
- Manage company account details.
- Assist with progress billing, AIA documentation, retainage tracking, and change order accounting
- Coordinate subcontractor payments and lien waiver collection
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and payment schedules
Financial Reporting:
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow and provide forecasts
- Provide financial insights to support business strategy and decision-making
- Prepare journal entries, monthly closing procedures, and account reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely billing and collections
- Track project costs and provide regular updates to project managers
- Prepare VAT reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (construction field preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and construction job costing
- Experience with accounting software/ Al Amin Software
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
