About the Role
We are a growing travel agency looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. You will be the financial backbone of our day-to-day operations — keeping our books clean, our vendors happy, and our management informed. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love bringing order to numbers, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & General Ledger: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records; record daily transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations across all accounts.
- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, verify billing accuracy, schedule and execute payments on time, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Accounts Receivable: Generate client invoices, track outstanding balances, follow up on overdue payments, and apply collections protocols when needed.
- Invoicing: Prepare, issue, and manage invoices for travel packages, corporate accounts, and group bookings; ensure accuracy across currencies and service types.
- Budgeting: Assist in preparing annual and quarterly budgets; monitor actual vs. budgeted spend and flag variances to management.
- Financial Forecasting: Support cash flow projections and revenue forecasts; provide data-driven insights to help guide business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly financial summaries, P&L snapshots, and ad-hoc reports for leadership review.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies; assist during audits.
