Position :- Assistant Accountant

Location :- Abu Dhabi

Job Description :-We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to support the finance and accounting operations of the company. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Record and maintain accounting entries accurately in the accounting system.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, purchase orders, and receipts.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and company accounts.
• Monitor petty cash transactions and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in payroll preparation and salary processing.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Assist auditors and management during audits and financial reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and UAE regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience; UAE experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Food & Beverage, hospitality, or retail industry.
• Familiarity with VAT filing and UAE financial regulations.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
