Assistant Accountant (Male)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant with hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update accounting records and financial transactions.
  • Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Generate financial reports and assist with data analysis using Excel.
  • Verify and reconcile financial data for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding accounting matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with accounting software is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of VAT and basic taxation procedures.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Salary: As per experience and company standards.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
