Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant with hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accounting records and financial transactions.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Generate financial reports and assist with data analysis using Excel.
- Verify and reconcile financial data for accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding accounting matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of VAT and basic taxation procedures.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Salary: As per experience and company standards.
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
