SOFTCONSULTS has been providing cloud-based ERP solutions since 1999. We need Assistant Account Manager supports the Account Manager in maintaining and growing assigned client accounts, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. This role involves day-to-day account operations, client communications, support on proposals and reports, and helping identify opportunities for upsell or cross-sell.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing client contracts, renewals and account documentation.
  • Monitor account performance metrics, prepare status reports and highlight risks or opportunities.
  • Coordinate internally with sales, operations, finance and other teams to ensure timely delivery of services to clients.
  • Maintain and update client account records, databases and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support growth of accounts by identifying upselling/cross-selling opportunities and liaising with the Account Manager.
  • Help resolve client issues, monitor service commitments and work to improve account satisfaction.
  • Assist in budget tracking, billing follow-up and ensuring clients are billed appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in client meetings, prepare meeting materials, take minutes and follow up on action items.
  • Stay informed about the client’s industry, market trends, and the organization’s service/offering portfolio to bring insights to the client relationship.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-3 years’ experience in account management, client service, sales support or related role. Careervira+1
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and time-management abilities; able to prioritise and manage competing demands.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM tools desirable.
  • Analytical mindset: able to interpret data, prepare reports and provide recommendations.
  • Client-focused attitude, proactive approach and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and also manage tasks independently.
  • (Optional) Understanding of the industry in which the company operates (e.g., marketing, finance, insurance) will be beneficial.
