1. Managing Accounts Receivable Process
- Supervise the entire receivables cycle — from invoicing to cash application.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoices sent to clients.
- Monitor outstanding customer balances and due dates.
2. Credit Control & Risk Management
- Evaluate new and existing customers’ creditworthiness.
- Set and enforce credit limits and payment terms.
- Identify high-risk accounts and take proactive measures to reduce default risk.
3. Collections Management
- Follow up with clients for overdue payments through calls, emails, or statements.
- Develop collection strategies and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
- Escalate long-pending cases for legal or management intervention.
4. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular AR aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and collection performance reports.
- Analyze receivable trends and identify potential problem accounts.
- Report key metrics such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and collection efficiency.
5. Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve disputes or billing issues.
- Maintain good relationships with customers to encourage timely payments.
- Provide feedback to management about customer payment behavior.
