Assistant Accounts Officer

Lahore, Pakistan

Seven Zones Travel is a UK based travel agency.
Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy before payment.
  • Match purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes (3-way matching).
  • Maintain up-to-date accounts payable records in accounting software.
  • Prepare and process payments (cheques, bank transfers, online payments).
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions with vendor statements.
  • Assist with monthly and yearly financial closing.
  • Handle vendor queries and maintain positive relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or finance role (for junior roles, fresh graduates may be considered).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
