Overview:
Our client is seeking an Assistant AP Manager who will have extensive experience managing high-volume AP operations, supporting and coaching team members, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
Responsibilities:

Execute and support the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, invoice processing, and vendor management.

Process and review high-volume payments (including milestone-based payments), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper approvals.

Prepare and support month-end accruals, reconciliations, AP close related activities, internal and external audits.

Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls, and automation, and assist with implementation.

Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure AP is accurately reflected in financial statements, and pull AP data and prepare ad hoc reports.
Skills & Qualifications:

4-6+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience; prior senior level responsibility preferred.

Strong understanding of AP processes, vendor management, and month-end close support.

Experience with AP, banking, and ERP/accounting systems, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel/accounting software.

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
