Assistant Architect - SAUDI National

The - SAUDI National - Assistant Architect is required to help with the development of architectural projects through design input, production, coordination, and research at all stages of the project from concept to tender.

Key Objectives

· To assist in specific design and technical production of the project.

· To assist in the required research and presentation

· To be aware of local and international codes and standards and apply that to production.

· To contribute fresh ideas/ trends acquired from university and/or internship.

Expectations & Responsibilities related to your role.

1. DESIGN

· Work under the direct Supervision of a Project Lead with a goal of eventually moving up to that position with experience.

· Produce 3D and physical models as required.

· Develop project packages that demonstrate clarity, design sensitivity, and a sound understanding of technical feasibility.

· Complete the required actions/documents prior to reviews in a timely manner.

· Have good understanding of utilizing the latest software to deliver the project.

· Produce a high volume of meaningful work in an efficient way to meet the required standards meeting the project deadline.

1. EDUCATION & TRAINING

· Bachelor’s degree in architecture

· Excellent design skills

· Experience in generating 3D design model/visuals.

· Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office

· Experience in Revit, Grasshopper or Vray is a plus.

· Hand sketching skills are a must.

· Model making skills are desirable.

· Excellent command of written and spoken English

2. EXPERIENCE

· Previous experience in an office environment working as part of a team.

· Industry Experience – Internships undertaken at 2 or more reputable practices highly regarded.

· 1 to 2 years of experience
