Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird seeks to fill an Assistant Attorney General position in the Civil Litigation Division of her office, specializing in the area of Worker’s Compensation.
Attorneys in the Civil Litigation division who practice in the area of worker’s compensation defend the State and its agencies in worker’s compensation proceedings and proceedings involving the Second Injury Fund. The position offers the opportunity to obtain substantial experience in a collegial environment with other talented attorneys and paralegals.
A successful candidate will be passionate about public service, committed to providing high quality legal representation and supporting the rule of law. This position requires strong organization skills and the ability to support a high caseload. This position requires a license or the ability to obtain a license to practice law in Iowa. Previous worker’s compensation experience is preferred.

Annual pay ranges from $62,337.60 –$153,420.80, depending on experience.
