Summary

You will be part of the branch’s leadership team seeking to provide the world’s best service experience. You will contribute to achieving the branch’s sales and service goals by: helping clients; identifying financial needs; and offering appropriate services. You will expand relationships by developing expertise in consumer and business banking and serving as a trusted advisor. You will support the Branch Manager in coaching and developing team members in these same areas. You will participate and serve in the community, ensuring the Bank’s visibility. You will actively oversee the branch’s operations, security, and compliance.

    • Lead the sales and service effort by acting as a role model and by assisting in coaching the team
    • Oversee the branch’s operational integrity, and adherence to the Bank’s policies and procedures.

    • Develop external advocates through robust engagement with clients, prospects, and center of influencers

  • Sales and Servicing
    • Engage with clients in a dynamic environment by actively listening and encouraging ongoing conversation to uncover opportunities to deepen relationships.
    • Listen actively to identify financial needs, including daily banking, borrowing, saving and referral opportunities
    • Proactively identify, schedule and conduct external business calls to originate and expand client relationships
    • Contact existing clients to review relationships, discover opportunities and onboard customers
    • Maintain knowledge of features and benefits of all products, services and digital solutions
    • Identify and offer consumer and business loan solutions that meet borrowers’ financial goals
    • Handle complex service issues and enlist support of appropriate staff for advanced problem resolution
    • Process transactions, open accounts, and close HELOC and consumer loans in compliance with performance standards
  • Operations
    • Support the Branch Manager to ensure the branch’s overall operational integrity, maintain a consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations and ensure a satisfactory operating environment.
    • Ensure controls are in-force for cash, negotiable instruments, and precious metals
    • Ensure operating logs are accurate, complete, and appropriately submitted
    • Ensure all audits are completed
  • Conform to standards for punctuality, attendance, and professionalism per the team member handbook. May travel or relocate to other branches, change schedule, and perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college, business, banking or professional training helpful
  • One - two years’ experience in sales, retail banking, lending, customer service and/or operations
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
