Assistant Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans, leveraging market analysis, to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in Freight Forwarding services.

2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation efforts.

3. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, driving customer retention.

4. Collaborate with operations team to ensure seamless delivery of freight forwarding services and effective client problem resolution.

5. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.

6. Prepare and present professional sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients.

7. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to optimize profitability while meeting their needs and expectations.

8. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and growth opportunities, while also mentoring and coaching sales team members to enhance their skills and productivity, and staying updated on industry regulations & market developments.
