Assistant, Case Management

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Insurance Case Manager to support the underwriting and operations process for a growing life insurance advisory practice. This role is responsible for managing insurance applications, coordinating with major insurance carriers, and ensuring a smooth experience for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage insurance applications from submission through policy issue
  • Coordinate underwriting requirements with insurance carriers
  • Track and resolve NIGOs and underwriting requests
  • Communicate with insurance carriers and internal advisors
  • Maintain accurate case tracking and documentation through technology channels managed internally
  • Assist with policy delivery and funding coordination
  • Help maintain operational systems and case management tools
  • Support client service and policy follow ups as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in insurance operations or underwriting support preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
  • Comfortable working with insurance carrier portals and CRM systems
  • Life insurance license preferred but not required

Growth Opportunity

This role has the potential to grow into a full time operations position and may include opportunities to obtain insurance licensing and take on additional responsibilities within the firm.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Pay: From $16.90 per hour
