Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs, including behavioral health, child welfare, addiction issues, and housing stability.
- Develop personalized care plans that incorporate crisis intervention strategies and motivational interviewing techniques to motivate positive behavior change.
- Coordinate services related to Section 8 housing programs, Medicare, workforce development initiatives, and other community resources.
- Provide crisis management and intervention during urgent situations, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients experiencing behavioral or mental health crises.
- Offer mentorship and guidance to clients on topics such as childcare, addiction counseling, and social skills development.
- Supervise or collaborate with junior staff or interns to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and service plans in compliance with organizational policies and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in social work settings with a focus on case management, behavioral health, or child welfare.
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, crisis management, and addiction counseling.
- Knowledge of behavioral health issues, including mental health disorders and substance use challenges.
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients effectively.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff or interns is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with programs such as Section 8 housing, Medicare services, workforce development initiatives, and child welfare systems.

Pay: $24.99 - $30.09 per hour
