Assistant Chef

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Chef to support our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking meals
• Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes and standards
• Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients for daily menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
• Follow hygiene, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and ingredient storage
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods
• Ensure proper use and cleaning of kitchen equipment
• Help with plating and presentation of dishes
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Chef, Kitchen Helper, or similar role preferred
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays if required
• Good hygiene and awareness of food safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
