Assistant Chemical Engineer

Job Summary

Compass Training & Consultancy is recruiting a Chemical Engineer for one of our client organization in the Tableware & Glass Manufacturing client. The candidate will be responsible for managing raw materials, production processes, quality control, and process optimization to ensure consistent product standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee glass production processes and chemical compositions.
• Monitor raw material quality and batch formulation.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and production specifications.
• Conduct process analysis and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain product consistency.
• Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and process documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing (glass/ceramic industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of industrial chemical processes and quality control.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of safety and environmental standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in glass formulation or kiln/furnace operations.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards.
