Job Summary
The Assistant Coach supports the Coach in planning, organizing, and delivering training sessions and matches. The role focuses on player development, tactical implementation, and maintaining a positive, disciplined team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Coach in planning and conducting training sessions
- Support match-day preparation, including warm-ups and tactical setup
- Help analyze team and opponent performance
- Provide individual feedback to players to improve performance and skills
- Ensure players follow training schedules, rules, and discipline standards
- Assist in developing game strategies and formations
- Monitor player fitness, attendance, and overall progress
- Support injury prevention protocols and coordinate with medical staff if needed
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive club culture
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or related field (preferred)
- Coaching certification is plus
- Previous experience coaching (youth, academy, or professional level)
- Strong understanding of sport tactics and player development
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, match days)
