This position is a 12-month, full-time, benefits-eligible position located in Brookings, SD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will assist the head coach with maintaining a competitive Division I soccer program. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, recruitment of prospective student-athletes; development of the team/players; travel coordination; monitoring academic performance and building positive social skills. This position will also perform administrative duties, assist with summer camp responsibilities, and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Earned bachelor’s degree by application date;
  • At least one year of experience with collegiate coaching, club coaching, or Division I playing experience – an equivalent combination will be considered;
  • Commitment to promote an atmosphere of compliance and adherence to institution, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations;
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; and
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with recruitment of prospective student-athletes in the Midwest.
  • NSCAA National Diploma or USSF “C” license or higher
  • Knowledge of fundraising, compliance, and academics.
