Assistant Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project coordination, and scheduling, with proficiency in various construction management software. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Utilize construction management software such as Construction Cloud, ProCore, Bluebeam and MS Project for project tracking and reporting.
• Develop detailed project schedules and timelines using project scheduling techniques.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise on-site.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Prepare accurate construction estimates and budgets for projects.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards on the job site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and practices.
• Proficiency in project management software including Primavera P6, Civil 3D, ProCore, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid.
• Excellent understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction site operations.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
